Lori Loughlin has returned to Instagram seven years after deleting her account. The 62-year-old actress announced her comeback on August 31 with a nostalgic video inspired by the fictional “Wake Up, San Francisco” program featured on Full House.
The video includes appearances from John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger and Andrea Barber. Each cast member helps welcome Loughlin back before the video closes with an archival clip of the late Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner on the beloved sitcom.
Loughlin originally deleted her Instagram account in March 2019 after becoming involved in the college admissions scandal. She later pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud and served nearly two months in federal prison before being released in December 2020. Since then, she has gradually returned to television and reunited publicly with several of her former castmates.
Her social-media return also comes shortly before her return to Hallmark in Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage. The new mystery movie is scheduled to premiere on September 19 at 8/7c and stream on Hallmark+ the following day.
